Ciaran Casey and his watch of the Friday night troop came first place in the County Camping competition held over the weekend in Larchill Tirbradden,Co.Dublin. Ciaran led his watch over the weekend in a keenly contested competition. Marks were allocated for preparation, site build, menu, camp hygiene, camp craft and cooking.
The watch scored high in all areas. The judges souls and stomachs were melted by the watch’s dinner on Saturday night. Mellon sun surprise began as the starter, followed by a sweet and sour chicken dish with pillar riceĀ and of course the desert chocolate mountain log .All washed down with campers tea. Great stuff that earned his watch over 600 points and walk away with first place. Well done.
