Malahide Sea Scouts – Parent’s & Friend’s AGM – Thursday 26th Nov ‘ 09

Group Leader Lo Kinkenbergh opened this years AGM by welcoming and thanking the large gathering of parent’s , friend’s and leaders of Malahide Sea Scout Group for their support during the year .The Group had never been so active in the recent pass with every section having action packed programme from January 1st 2009.

During the summer months the den was a hive of activity with   meetings , canoeing ,canoe polo,sailing,rowing, power boating,sleep overs, beach walks, safety cycling, camps, barbeques,coastal walks, exploring etc.  The credit goes to the large amount of volunteer leaders within the group who I thank whole heartily for their support. To the parents who give lifts , cook burgers , fund raise and been there when needed. As we come to the close of 2009 it will be remembered for the simple but very effective programme celebrating our 90th. The Founder’s Day Hike , Quiz Night ,The 90th Group Scarf, The Big Photo Shoot in Malahide Castle , Laura Brennan’s Fun Day , The Display at the Heritage Museum, Remembering the Hon. Rose Talbot , Trip to St.Andrew’s, Sailing Regatta , Triathlon, Annual Camps and Expeditions
