Ivan and Rachel Barrett of Malahide Sea Scouts in a Touring Kayak Double

The Liffey Decent this year welcomed every body. There were participants from everywere from Antrim, to Chester,from Donegal to Kilkenny , from Tullamore to Mullingar,from Czech Republic to Celbridge,West Cork to Leeds,the list goes on.Great credit must go to the organisers for drawing such a variety of canoeists ,but that is  the Liffey Decent and the challange it brings.

Scouting was well repesented with scouts from Malahide, Limerick and Donabate .Rachel and Ivan finished in a time of 2hr.28min.23sec. placing them 9th.Well done.
