HAITI WEEK – 2012

Haiti Week is taking place from Saturday 21st January – Saturday 28th January and will feature events and activities throughout the country. January 2012 is the second anniversary of the catastrophic earthquake in Haiti that killed over 230,000 and displaced more than 2.1 million from their homes. The objective of Haiti Week is to raise awareness of Haiti through art, music and the business community.
HAVEN NEEDS YOUR HELP!
We are appealing for as many volunteers as possible to come out in force to help raise money for Havens ongoing work in Haiti. We would be very grateful if you could spare a few hours to help out in one of the following locations outlined below in Dublin. There will be a designated Team leader allocated to each venue. They will be in touch with you directly if you are able to participate in the bucket collection on Saturday 21st January 2012.

What: Hugs for Haiti Bucket Collection
Where: Dublin – Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dunlaoighre Town Centre, O’Connell and Henry Street, Grafton Street and Stephens Green area
** Please note that you can volunteer to do the bucket collection at whatever venue in Dublin suits you best.
When: Saturday 21st January 2012
Time: 9am – 6pm
