Oars Charge Cert 2010

19 senior scouts signed up for The Intermediate Practical Charge Cert Course 2010.

The theory part of the course commenced last November on a Sunday evening and  was run over 8 evenings . This part of the course covers, water safety ,boating rules , the correct care and wearing of PDF’s etc.The written part of the certificate was completed in February .

On May 2nd the Practical Course was completed and all were successful.The course instructs scouts to be able to row in a boats crew,take charge of a boats crew, come alongside ,disembark, man overboard drill and heave a line.
