Once Scouts now Mum’s

Recently former scouts ,now Mum’s have taken to training as  boat’s crew in the evening time in Malahide’s Lower Estuary. Coxswain’s Edward O’Donnell and Kevin Rowan have taken the crew’s out for a full training session.The exercise covers embarking and disembarking,trailing oars, tossing oars,holding water,gunnel oars,turning to starboard,turning to port , back watering,boats discipline,coming alongside and safety afloat.
