Departure day draws closer!

The build up and excitement of setting off on Annual Camp.As the day draws nearer ,there’s plenty of preparation. Camping equipment needs checking.Tents,poles,pegs,mallet,no holes,and then water proof.Have we  complete contents in our watch boxes? Lots have to be done,but is all part of the fun in preparing for that departure day.

When we get there what type of a site will we have and thats when planning your site is very important before departure.A good scout camp site will try and have all of the comforts of home or something very close to it. Often these comforts can be made up in the form of camp gadgets.These are small pioneering projects ,like a dresser,shoe rack,washing and drying stand,a chopping area etc. So get practicing those lashings!
