Visit of Tall Ships – Dublin 2012
Everybody has a job to do at the Tall Ships. Sea Scouts from Malahide,Howth,Dunlaoighaire and Dodder signed up as voluntary helpers during the visit of the International Tall Ships in Dublin port. Several times during the day when the Eastlink bridge is lifted to allow visiting Irish boats into the spectacular line of sail, sea scout boats take the lead to guide the flotilla up the river. Using Poolbeg Sailing Club as base, briefing is given by Club Commodore Peter Tobin as to how the lead and following boats take the flotilla
