Tuesday Cubs Investiture DSCThere were double celebration recently at the Tonnta Cub section of the Malahide Sea Scout group. Six new  recruits were invested by their leaders into the cub pack and part of the evenings proceedings is to make the Cub Promise in front of the  pack, their parents  and the sections leaders. The promise is a simple one ,that only asks the newly invested cub to ‘do their best’  in all they attempt while on their scout journey through Cubs.Tuesday Cubs Investiture D

Before the evening concluded a second celebration took place when the members of  the pack appeared with a candle lit cake  of enormous size for their leader Anna Hickey. Anna was celebrating 30 year plus membership of the group and also a very magic birthday date. Congratulations Anna and to all the new recruits who were invested on the evening.
