New Opportunity to Group Members

 

Edward O'Donnell at base camp (5364m) Mt.Everest,Nepal

Congratulations must be extended to Edward O’Donnell a leader with the Wednesday Night cubs of the Malahide Sea Scout Group. Edward has just gained his Level 7 in Mountaineering skills over the weekend 23rd to 25th November at a venue in County Down.

A long time member of the group has extensive hillwalking experience and has climbed both Kilimanjaro Tanzania and Mount Everest in Nepal. There is now great opportunity for the  younger members of the group to take instruction and  get out onto the hills.
