Beaver Santa visit IMG_2815 (6)Ten Beavers of the Friday night section crossed over the threshold and entered the Scouting trail when invested by Group Chairperson Kevin Rowan. New Beavers to the section were joined by their parents and five new leaders who were also invested on the night. Beaver Leader Alice Geraghty thanked and welcomed her new team of Volunteers.Beaver Santa visit IMG_2815 (12)

When the official part of the ceremony concluded a loud knock was heard on the door and a ring of his bell Santa entered to meet the new Beavers and their families. Santa spent the next while meeting every boy and girl. But as ever, Santa was under pressure with only fourteen more sleeps to Christmas Day he had to return to the North Pole to finish wrapping gifts for every boy and girl. Happy Christmas to everybody
