New Skipper for Neala Troop
The Neala Troop held their Annual Award Ceremony last night, but also received news they didn’t expect….After an outstanding 13 years as Skipper of Buíon Neala, Stephanie McCann announced she will be stepping down from the role.
We need no reminder to the huge amount of time and effort she dedicated to her Troop.
Stephanie has done remarkable work in developing the lives of so many young people, allowing them to grow as individuals and achieve their full potential in the true spirit of Scouting.
When the news broke her girls shed a tear which shows just the kind of impact she had on them.In a heart-warming handover speech, Gillian Forde announced she will be taking on the role as the 6th Skipper of Buíon Neala.
Gillian thanked Stephanie for her exceptional work as Skipper, but also for being her Skipper while she was a young scout.
