Session Planning
If you just want ideas for games/activities go to Games/Activities pages at http://www.malahideseascouts.ie/leader-resources-training/games/sections/.
Below are two SI resources, the first an outline of a sample weekly Cub meeting and the second is a 6 week programme resource for Cubs to cover the first 6 weeks back at the start of September.
If you want to plan out sessions more thoroughly, Scouts UK has a useful planning tool for all sections. I think the easiest way to use the tool is to choose the ‘add new term’ button and then the ‘cub’ option. You can use a pre-made plan to start. For example, see a session for Cubs below. It gives an outline of the session. As you can see the planner gives you timings plus details of equipment needed for each game, downloads of how to play each game and some handy notes.
